| Lena: We can express 'Excuse me!' in two different ways in Hungarian. We say Bocsásson meg! when we did something really bad, for example, when we spill a drink or food on someone. We use Elnézést! when we made a smaller mistake such as bumping into someone or arriving a bit late. You can also say Elnézést! when you need to get the attention of someone you don’t know, such as a waiter at a restaurant or a stranger on the street if you are lost and looking for help. |
